Lifestyle Habits and the Menopause
Your experience of the menopause will be unique to you. I believe women should feel they can be in a positive place emotionally, physically and spiritually, that enables them to transition in their menopause journey where they feel in control.

This is about ‘Your story’, how you are transitioning through this stage in life, the impact that the changes being experienced are having on you and those around you. It’s important to take time for yourself and choose hypnotherapy as an opportunity to be fully open and honest in a safe, loving and confidential environment because you do deserve to feel empowered and embrace your menopause stage.

As a mum and wife, myself, I know how challenging life can be when experiencing the peri-menopause and what comes with it. Why did I just put my keys in the fridge? I’m sure I came upstairs to do something, but I can’t remember?! Maybe snapping at your children or partner.

If you have children who are going through puberty, whilst you are experiencing what manifests during the peri-menopause stage, everyday life can suddenly seem a little more challenging that what you may have previously thought as being ‘normal’ can become overwhelming.

Yes, hormones do play a big part in what manifests in the menopause stages and one of the many things that can be changed is by us looking at your lifestyle choices:
-
Alcohol intake
-
Unhealthy eating habits
-
Night sweats
-
Hot flushes
-
Lack of focus
-
Insomnia
-
Loss of confidence
-
No interest in exercise
All or some of the above can impact your confidence, self-esteem, behaviours, moods, attention/focus and all these are affected by the mis-alignment of what we feel, act and behave during the different stages of the menopause.

Think of it as a ‘domino effect’, when one thing we do is impede on our wellbeing, it continues to manifest in other ways.
